Las Vegas City Council To Recognize American Foundation For Suicide Prevention
Employee Of The Month To Also Be Honored
The Las Vegas City Council will recognize the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention at the Sept. 16, 2026, City Council meeting that will begin at 9 a.m. in Council Chambers on the second floor of Las Vegas City Hall, located at 495 S. Main St.
Ward 1 Councilman Brian Knudsen will recognize the foundation, which is a voluntary health organization that gives those affected by suicide a community empowered by research, education and advocacy to act against suicide. Established in 1987, the foundation is dedicated to saving lives and bringing hope to those affected by suicide.
In addition, the City Council also will recognize the September 2026 Employee of the Month.
The council meeting will be broadcast live on city of Las Vegas TV, and on the city of Las Vegas TV YouTube channel.
