Parking Rules For All City Staff
A Friendly Reminder From Parking Services!
1) Employees not assigned to the 500 S. Main St Garage should park in the City Parkway Garage, 350 S. City Pkwy. You may enter/exit the 500 S. Main St. Garage and use the vehicular bridge on the third floor to cross over. You will have 30 minutes to cross the bridge to the City Parkway garage or exit the garage to avoid being charged.
2) New and replacement employee badges will not have garage access until the following day. Always try using your badge first. If the gate does not open, push the help button and advise the agent that you received a new/replacement badge. Provide your name, department and badge number to the agent and they will open the gate.
3) If your badge is not working to enter the garage or you have forgotten it, you must pull a ticket to enter. Use the help button on the kiosk to exit. You will be asked for your name, department and your badge number.
4) Calls made at the gate kiosk are answered by a third-party vendor. The agents are not city employees and cannot verify badge usage or access level. If payment is required, the agents cannot open the gate until payment is made; please pay and contact ParkingGarage@LasVegasNevada.Gov. Refusing to pay will result in an additional $35 Failure to Pay parking citation.
5) When operating a city vehicle, you must use the vehicle’s badge, not your personal badge. Personal badges are only to be used when entering/exiting the garage in your personal vehicle. If your city vehicle does not have a badge, request one through IT at CardAccess@LasVegasNevada.Gov.
6) Parking in unauthorized spaces may result in a citation. No one is permitted to park in marked visitor spaces. ADA, Club Ride and reserved spaces need prior authorization. To obtain a handicapped space authorization, contact Tammy Counts tcounts@lasvegasnevada.gov. For Club Ride space authorization, contact Consuelo Fajardo-Mendoza at cfajardo@lasvegasnevada.gov.
7) City Hall validations for 500 S. Main St. garage require a garage entry ticket. Validations do not work with your city badge. If you do not pull a ticket, regardless of the validation, you will be required to pay upon exit. Refunds will not be issued.
8) The parking rules apply to all city employees and are enforced 24/7. City badge usage at the garage is only permitted during your work hours. Posted signage inside the garages must be followed at all times including having current registration displayed and no backing into stalls in the 500 S. Main St. Garage.
9) Please respect speed limit, posted signs and pedestrians in the garage. The speed limit in the garage is 10 miles per hour. Please be mindful of your co-workers and others in the garage.

For Your Viewing Pleasure
"Las Tres Flores" is a new public sculpture located on an island at the corner of Sunrise Avenue and 26th Street. Created for this East Las Vegas neighborhood by artist Justin Favela, this vibrant installation highlights the beauty of the desert through three towering metal bear poppy flowers and a single bud rising from blue green leaves. Boulders at the base reflect the rocky terrain where the bear poppy thrives and the mountains that frame East Las Vegas. The city of Las Vegas commissioned the sculpture.
