The Arts District Is Open For Business
The 18b Las Vegas Arts District is open for business during ongoing Charleston Boulevard construction, with local shops, restaurants, brewries, bars and coffee shops ready to welcome visitors. Use Oakey Boulevard to access businesses south of Charleston and Bonneville Avenue for destinations north of Charleston. While some road closures and detours are in place through the project, access to businesses will be maintained throughout construction.
Heavy Traffic Expected In Downtown Las Vegas
The Las Vegas Summer Market returns to World Market Center July 26-30, with market hours from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily (closing at 4 p.m. on Thursday).
Motorists should expect heavy traffic during market hours, particularly on northbound Grand Central Parkway between Charleston Boulevard and Symphony Park Avenue, and on eastbound Bonneville Avenue from Martin L. King Jr. Boulevard to Grand Central Parkway during the morning commute.
Arts District Parking Updates
The city has announced new parking updates for the 18b Las Vegas Arts District, including the Sept. 29 opening of a new 500-space parking garage at 1421 S. Casino Center Blvd.
Beginning Oct. 1, visitors will enjoy free street parking Monday through Friday until 1 p.m., while discounted monthly parking passes for residents and employees will also be available as the city continues working to improve parking access and support the district's growth.
