Las Vegas City Council To Recognize Spread The Word Nevada
Employee Of The Month Also To Be Recognized
The Las Vegas City Council will recognize Spread the Word Nevada at the May 20, 2026, City Council meeting that will begin following the 8:30 a.m. Redevelopment Agency meeting in Council Chambers on the second floor of City Hall, located at 495 S. Main St.
Ward 1 Councilman Brian Knudsen will recognize Spread the Word Nevada, for the nonprofit’s work in the community to expand childhood literacy. Since 2001, Spread the Word Nevada has distributed more than 8 million gently used and new books to more than 1.5 million of Nevada’s children in need.
In addition, the Las Vegas City Council will also recognize the city’s May 2026 Employee of the Month.
The council meeting will be broadcast live on city of Las Vegas TV, and on the city of Las Vegas TV YouTube channel.
