Rainbow Company Youth Theatre presents "Peter and the Starcatcher",
written by Rick Elice with music by Wayne Barker
and directed by Robert Acosta and J.R. Coley.
The Tony Award-winning play upends the century-old story of how a miserable orphan becomes the boy who would not grow up, better known as Peter Pan. The story explores themes of greed, despair, friendship, duty and love. A young orphan and his companions are sent from Victorian England to a distant island ruled by the evil King Zarboff. During the voyage, the boys encounter Molly, a precocious young girl training to become a starcatcher. When pirates led by the fearsome Black Stache seize the ship, the journey turns into a fast-paced and thrilling adventure.
