Select Splash Pads Will Open During Spring Break
Stay Cool And Beat The Unseasonable Heat Next Week
With spring break approaching and unseasonably warm temperatures in the forecast, the city of Las Vegas is helping families stay cool, active and prepared by opening splash pads at parks across the city and offering a variety of youth spring break camp opportunities.
In response to unseasonably warm temperatures, the city will temporarily open water-play areas at the following parks Friday, March 13, through Monday, March 23:

Spring Break Camps
March 16-20, 2026
Splash Spring Break Camp (ages 6-11)
Monday-Friday, March 16-20, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. daily.
Cost: $150
Municipal Pool, 431 E. Bonanza Road, 702-229-6309.
This will be a week of fun in the water, with each day offering something new -- water polo, swim lessons, diving, artistic swimming and more. The week wraps up with a field trip adventure to the Springs Preserve. Children need to bring a sack lunch, swimsuit, towel and a change of dry clothes each day. Scholarships available to those who qualify. Space is limited and advance registration is required.
Spring Break Camp (ages 5-18)
Monday-Friday, March 16-20, 7 a.m.-6 p.m. daily.
The city of Las Vegas will offer all-day supervised fun, recreation and enrichment for youth in kindergarten through eighth grade when the Clark County School District is on spring break. Prices vary by location. Scholarships available to those who qualify. Space is limited and advance registration is required.
Camps With Spots Still Available:
- Doolittle Community Center, 1950 N. J St., 702-229-6374; ages 5-13; $100/week.
- Stupak Community Center, 251 W. Boston Ave., 702-229-2488; ages 5-13; $100/week.
Two Indoor Pools Open
Two indoor city pools will be available for open swim during spring break.
Open swim will be available at Municipal Pool, 431 E. Bonanza Road, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, March 16 through Friday, March 20.
Open swim will be available at Pavilion Pool, 101 S. Pavilion Center Drive, from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 14 and Monday, March 16 through Friday, March 20 from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Swimming rates are $2 for ages 4-17 and 50+; $3 for adults; free for ages 3 and younger.
Summer Camp Registration Now Open
Monday-Friday, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily May 26-Aug. 7; no camp June 19 for Juneteenth holiday.
Get ready for a summer full of sunshine, smiles and nonstop fun! From arts and crafts to sports, games music and more, campers will stay active and creative weekdays under the guidance of our awesome, trained staff.
Fees vary by location. Financial assistance is available.
