Try something new for lunch Feb. 26, from food trucks parked on Goodman Way from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. between City Hall and the Las Vegas Civic Center at 525 S. Main St.
Opening Reception "Rhythm And Resilience: Black Vegas" Exhibition March 12, 6-8 p.m.
Explore the history and lasting impact of African Americans in Las Vegas. Curated by Carmen Beals and narrated by Claytee White, the exhibit opens March 12 and continues through Aug. 20,2026, in the Las Vegas Civic Center Gallery.
Nuwu Art: Indigenous Talent Show March 14, 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
Enjoy Native American performances, special exhibitions, food trucks, and authentic arts and crafts vendors. The free showcase will feature solo, duet and group acts.
Businesses Are Open On Charleston
Road construction is underway downtown on Carson and Charleston (Main to Maryland Parkway), but businesses remain open and ready to welcome visitors. Restaurant Row and the Arts District are open for dining, shopping and exploring, and the community is encouraged to continue supporting these local establishments.

18b Arts District
Drivers can enjoy three hours of free on-street parking in the Arts District from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday, giving visitors extra time to dine and shop at local businesses. The free parking zone is bounded by Charleston Boulevard, Commerce Street, Third Street and Oakey Boulevard. Those wishing to stay past 2 p.m. can extend their time remotely using the Flowbird app by entering their license plate number and the street name where they parked.
