City Council To Recognize Local Eagle Scouts
Employee Of The Month Also To Be Recognized
The Las Vegas City Council will recognize local youth for outstanding contributions to the community at the Aug. 20, 2025, City Council meeting that will begin following an 8:30 a.m. Redevelopment Agency meeting in Council Chambers on the second floor of City Hall, located at 495 S. Main St.
Ward 5 Councilwoman Shondra Summers-Armstrong will recognize Las Vegas Area Council Boy Scouts of America who have achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. To become an Eagle Scout, one must earn 21 merit badges, demonstrate leadership and complete a community service project.
In addition, the city of Las Vegas August Employee of the Month will also be recognized.
The meeting will be broadcast live on city of Las Vegas TV.
