City Council To Recognize Local Business

Citizen Of The Month Also To Be Recognized

 

    The Las Vegas City Council will recognize a local business and the Citizen of the Month at the July 2, 2025, City Council meeting that will begin at 9 a.m. in Council Chambers on the second floor of City Hall, located at 495 S. Main St.

 

    Ward 3 Councilwoman Olivia Diaz will recognize Astrid Silva as the July 2025 Citizen of the Month. Silva is an activist who has helped connect the Latino community to city services and is the cofounder of the Dream Big Organization.

 

    Ward 2 Councilwoman Victoria Seaman is scheduled to recognize Protective Force International Security Services and CEO Jonathan Alverez at the meeting. This local business provides private security solutions and has clients around the city.

 

    The meeting will be broadcast live on city of Las Vegas TV.
