Las Vegas City Council To Recognize Las Vegas Fire & Rescue Technical Rescue Team
Employee Of The Month Also To Be Recognized
The Las Vegas City Council will recognize the Las Vegas Fire & Rescue Technical Rescue Team at the June 18, 2025, City Council meeting that will begin following the 8:30 a.m. Redevelopment Agency meeting in Council Chambers on the second floor of City Hall, located at 495 S. Main St.
Mayor Pro Tem Brian Knudsen will recognize the Las Vegas Fire & Rescue Technical Rescue Team specialty unit that handles such rescues as cave-in, tall building and mountainside situations and vehicle extrications. The team consists of a crew of four — one captain, one driver/engineer and two firefighters — plus the large “Heavy Rescue” truck.
In addition, the June 2025 city of Las Vegas Employee of the Month is scheduled to be recognized.
The meeting will be broadcast live on city of Las Vegas TV.
