Las Vegas City Council To Recognize NBA Summer League Official

Carole Adams Hattar Oversees NBA Summer League Community Programming

 

     The Las Vegas City Council will recognize a longtime NBA Summer League official at the June 4, 2025, City Council meeting that will begin following the 8:30 a.m. Redevelopment Agency meeting in Council Chambers on the second floor of City Hall, located at 495 S. Main St.

 

     Ward 2 Councilwoman Victoria Seaman will recognize Carole Adams Hattar as the June Citizen of the Month for her work with the NBA Summer League. Adams Hattar works to create community events for the residents of Las Vegas and helped establish the NBA Summer League Junior Basketball Program. Adams Hattar has been with the NBA Summer League since 2004.

 

     In addition, Mayor Shelley Berkley is scheduled to recognize the efforts of the Toxic Encephalopathy Foundation, a local group working to raise awareness of the dangers of chemicals and toxins, as well as their impact on brain health.

 

     The meeting will be broadcast live on city of Las Vegas TV.
