🏃 TRACK & FIELD – Saturday, March 15 | 8 a.m. | Cimarron High School, 2301 N. Tenaya Way. We are still looking for athletes ages 18-65+ to join the team! The events are 100-meter run, 400-meter run, 800-meter run, Long Jump, Shot Put and Softball Throw. Whether you're a sprinter, a jumper or just want to come out and have fun, we need you! 🏐 INDOOR VOLLEYBALL – March 19 Come watch our team bump, set and spike their way to victory! They promise an exciting match 6 p.m. at the Dula Community Center.
🔫 TRAP & SKEET SHOOTING – Spots Open! Competition is Sunday, April 6, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Clark County Shooting Complex. We still need two Skeet shooters and five for Trap Shooting to join this thrilling event! Contact Gina Ramirez (gramirez@lasvegasnevada.gov | 702.229.2171) to sign up.
🏃♀️ 5K RUN – Get Moving! – Competition is Saturday, April 12. Run, jog, or power-walk your way to points for our team! Every participant counts! 🚴♀️ BIKE RACE – Pedal your way to glory Wednesday, April 23, 5:30 p.m. at UNLV! Race in your age category (18+ to 65+)—no practice needed! Contact Oscar Garcia at 702.534.8093 or ogarcia@lasvegasnevada.gov to join the team and for details. We need riders to represent our team!
Tryouts & Qualifiers
⛳ Golf Qualifier – Saturday, March 29, at The Club at Sunrise, 5483 Club House Drive. It will be a two-person scramble -- two men or two women per team. The cost is $52 per person; pay at the Pro Shop on event day. You must sign up with Robin in advance, either as a single player or as a team of two, to reserve your tee time. Download the flier here. 🎯 B-Pong Tryouts are also March 29, at 3 p.m. at Joe’s Bar, 2851 N. Rancho Drive. Bring your A-game, your employee badge, and come compete for one of the four spots on the team! The event is scheduled for May 2 at 6 p.m. For more information, reach out to Dayne Thomas at 702.857.0197 or dmthomas@lasvegasnevada.gov. We provide the tables, cups, and balls – just bring your skills!

SmartLab Training Registration Open Now
Registration is open now for SmartLab training opportunities through June! You can visit SmartLab’s SharePoint site to find the schedule and other resources, or click here to go straight to the training schedule.
SmartLab offers three courses:
- White Belt training is a four-hour introduction to process improvement that is designed to be applicable for staff at all levels of the organization. It focuses on identifying and removing waste from processes. Executive staff may receive a one-hour summary of the course by request.
- Green Belt training takes place over two half-day sessions and teaches over a dozen improvement tools with a focus on root-cause analysis and problem solving. It is best suited for analysts or project leaders, although anyone who has completed White Belt may attend.
- Certified Champions Course is a four-part training series designed to teach management-level staff how to develop a culture of continuous improvement in their work area. Champions is offered quarterly with limited seats. Click here to learn more.

Food Trucks Offer Options 10 A.M.-2 P.M. Thursday, March 13
Ready to try something new? Food Truck Thursday March 13 offers Pizza Stoned and Ole Manny's Seafood Shack food truck options from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Clark Avenue, in front of the Municipal Courthouse. Food trucks are subject to change without notice.
