Bradley Road Improvements To Begin Nov. 12
Elkhorn Road And Deer Springs Way Intersections Will Have Delays
The city of Las Vegas will add a traffic signal and related Intelligent Traffic System infrastructure at the Bradley Road/Elkhorn Road intersection and begin construction of a Bradley Road/Deer Springs Way roundabout Nov. 12, 2024. Work hours to start will be 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday-Friday, but weekend work also is a possibility later in the six-month project.
Lane restrictions at both locations will cause delays. At the Elkhorn intersection, at least one lane in each direction will be open at all times. At the Deer Springs/Bradley intersection, a roundabout will be constructed. Only one direction on Bradley and one direction on Deer Springs will be open at a time, as half the intersection will be closed. Lane restrictions will remain in place 24 hours/day until the project is complete.
Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes, including Dorrell Lane or Farm Road for east/west travel to avoid the Bradley/Elkhorn intersection, and Decatur Boulevard or Jones Boulevard for north/south travel. To avoid the Deer Springs/Bradley roundabout construction, use Dorrell or Rome Boulevard for east/west travel and Thom or Decatur boulevards for north/south travel. See the maps.
Holcim-SWR, Inc. is the contractor. The project budget is about $3.1 million, provided by the Regional Transportation Commission. For questions or concerns about the project, call 702.649.6250.
