The community is invited to Vote Las Vegas, an initiative which hopes to encourage eligible voters to take advantage of the early-voting site at City Hall in downtown Las Vegas by making it convenient and fun. Free two-hour parking will be available at the City Hall Garage, 500 S. Main St.; validation required.
Vote Las Vegas will feature free ice cream while supplies last, entertainers and more. Food and beverages will be available for purchase from the following food trucks:
No matter where they live or what their precinct, all registered voters in Clark County, Nevada, are eligible to vote or drop off their mail ballots between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. at Las Vegas City Hall Tuesday, May 28, to Thursday, May 30, as well as Monday June 3, to Thursday, June 6. To register to vote or check your registration status, visit ClarkCountyNV.gov/vote.

Storytellers who can weave captivating narratives will share about the trials and triumphs of finding one's place, even when the path is paved with detours. These are heartfelt stories of connections that didn't always fit the mold. From misguided attempts at fitting in to bittersweet tales of longing for acceptance, they tell their stories.

We are looking to fill hourly positions in our Safekey and ReInvent programs. Participants should bring their resumes and be prepared for on-the-spot interviews, which will begin at the top of every hour. Walk-ins are welcome, but advance registration is encouraged.
Positions average 19-25 hours per week with a pay range of $14-$25 per hour. The Safekey and ReInvent before- and after-school programs offer recreation and academic enrichment at 70 Clark County School District elementary schools within the city of Las Vegas. These programs provide a safe environment where children in kindergarten through fifth grade have time to work on homework, participate in extended academic opportunities, have a nutritious afternoon snack and engage in fun recreational activities. These programs are offered on days that the Clark County School District holds classes.

DjangoVegas returns to the Historic Fifth Street School, 401 S. Fourth St., Saturday, June 22, from 6 to 10 p.m. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. All ages welcome.
The annual celebration pays tribute to the roots, origins, and established figures of hot club-style jazz, featuring John Jorgenson Quintet, The Hot Club of San Francisco and The Hot Club of Las Vegas featuring Frankie Moreno.
Drinks will be available for purchase for from Big Dog's Brewing Company, and food will also be available for purchase.
