Grants For Affordable Housing Projects Available To Developers And Nonprofit Organizations
Funding Applications for HOME and HOME-ARP Grants Available Online Now
The city of Las Vegas grant application process will open today for HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME) and HOME Investment Partnerships American Rescue Plan Program (HOME-ARP). To view requirements and to apply, visit www.lasvegasnevada.gov/HomeGrants.
- Approximately $3.5 million in HOME and Account for Affordable Housing Trust Fund grants are available to create, preserve and improve affordable housing for low-income households. New construction, acquisition/rehabilitation or rehabilitation of multi-family units are eligible for this funding. Developers in need of gap funding for the development of eligible affordable housing may apply. Low-income housing tax credits, private activity bonds or private funding would be the primary funding source. The application deadline for these grants is 5 p.m. PST April 30, 2025.
- Approximately $6.8 million in HOME-ARP funds are available for the development or rehabilitation of multi-family affordable housing units. The city is seeking applications from qualified developers to create affordable rental housing for individuals and families who meet the criteria outlined by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). In addition, approximately $1 million in HOME-ARP funds are available for supportive services. The city is seeking applications from qualified nonprofit service providers to provide supportive services to residents of the city who meet HUD criteria.The deadline for submitting completed applications for these grants is 3 p.m. PST July 22, 2024.
