First Friday Celebration In The 18b Las VegasArts District
Friday, Dec. 1, 5-11 p.m.
First Friday is a monthly art, music and food festival in the 18b Las Vegas Arts District. Road closures start at 10 a.m. Dec. 1. Roads will reopen at 11:30 p.m. Major closures: Boulder to Hoover avenues, Art Way to First Street, Coolidge Avenue from Main Street to Casino Center Boulevard. See the map below.
Las Vegas Great Santa Run
Saturday, Dec. 2, 10 a.m.-1 p.m.
Annual 5k held in downtown Las Vegas to raise money to help adults with disabilities in our community. Road closures start at 5 a.m. Dec 2. Roads will reopen at 2 p.m. Major closures: Carson to Hoover avenues; Third to 10th streets. Closure of Las Vegas Boulevard from Bridger to Hoover avenues. See the map below.
Tamale And Mariachi Festival
Saturday, Dec. 2, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
Annual Tamale & Mariachi Festival celebrating family, culture and holiday traditions. Held on the Centennial Plaza at The Historic Fifth Street School in downtown Las Vegas. Road closures start at 6 a.m. Dec 2. Roads will reopen at 7 p.m. Major closures: Fourth Street between Clark and Lewis avenues. See the map below.
