Stay Informed During An Emergency
During an emergency or crisis situation, it’s important that we can communicate with each other. The recent cyberattacks in Las Vegas involving the resort properties underscore how vital it is for organizations to have backup plans in place.
Here at the city, we have a simple means of being able to communicate emergency information. The majority of our employees have signed up for the program already. The menu of options allows you to customize what you want to receive — including emergency notifications, city job postings, road closures, email and more.
We want all our employees to be included in the emergency notifications. All you need to do is sign up if you haven’t already. You simply need to use your personal cell or mobile device number and/or personal email address. If you have a city phone and have unsubscribed, you can re-subscribe the same way.
There are two ways to sign up:

Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead), widely celebrated throughout Latin America Nov. 1 and 2, is a tradition with pre-Hispanic roots that honors and celebrates the lives of loved ones who may have passed, but return to reunite with friends and family during this cherished celebration.
The ofrenda will be set up at the NOW Café through Nov. 2. Clips for the pictures will be provided. Picture frames are not required, but can be placed anywhere there is an open space. Pictures may be retrieved Nov. 6-8. If you have questions, email Karen Castro at kcastro@lasvegasnevada.gov.
Pop-Up Produce Stand Set For Nov. 7 At Bonneville Transit Center Plaza

Healthy recipe cards, nutrition education and other health resources also will be available at the pop-ups. For more information, call 702.759.1270 or visit the Get Healthy Clark County Farmers Markets page.
