Is your teen looking for a summer job? Does your youth enjoy working with children and having an impact on the community? Then we have an opportunity for you! We are seeking energetic, enthusiastic and motivated candidates for our summer camp jobs.
As a camp counselor, your youth will have an awesome summer. From field trips and swim days, to arts and crafts, sports and games, there's never a boring day at work. Our camp counselors model enthusiasm, innovation, initiative, involvement, and motivation to all campers.
Applicants must be able to commit to work from May to Aug. 4, 2023.
Become A Lifeguard
Minimum 16 years of age
$15 Hourly
Candidates are required to pass a swim test.
Does your teen love to swim? Youth are needed to work at their neighborhood pools this summer! Lifeguarding is a rewarding summer job that pays you to hang around the pool. Benefits to being a lifeguard include making new friends, learning lifelong skills, staying in shape during school break and most importantly, saving lives. Watching for pool users in distress makes a difference in the safety of our community.

Grand Opening Ernest And Betty Becker Family Technology And Recreation Park
Saturday, April 1

Now located in the former Charleston Heights Park, the new facility is the Ernest And Betty Becker Family Technology and Recreation Park.
The new center will include state-of-the-art equipment in a true technology-based facility. The community center will provide the infrastructure to accommodate high-tech uses, allowing youth, as well as adults, to create computer games, participate in esports and produce high-quality video in front of a green screen. Local youth, along with representatives of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, deputy city marshals, local schools, esports business groups and area churches provided input into the design of the facility.
Starting March 13, the center will preview a variety of programs. Learn more and register.

Indoor Hockey League Registration Now Open

Our recreational indoor youth hockey league focuses on the fundamentals of the sport, including stick work, team organization and positioning. Your child will learn the value of teamwork in a fast-paced and safe environment. Participants will be coached by our National Alliance for Youth Sports-certified volunteer coaches. Each team has one practice and one game each week. This league is played in an enclosed area inside a city facility. Shin guards and mouth guards are mandatory. Hockey sticks can be borrowed at the facility.
