City Of Las Vegas Emergency Notification Service Provider
Has Changed
Enroll Today For Free Emergency Notifications On Your Phones Or Email
The city of Las Vegas has switched providers for emergency communications to OnSolve CodeRED. CodeRED is used to alert residents and businesses through a variety of channels to time-sensitive information, emergencies or urgent notifications. If you were previously enrolled to receive emergency notifications, you will need to re-enroll in the new system.
The geo-targeted system can reach millions of individuals in minutes to ensure information is quickly shared, using text, telephone, cellular phone, email and more. It’s important to include multiple points of contact to ensure you can be reached, regardless of the type of emergency. You would receive such notices as:
- Recommended evacuations
- Hazardous materials incidents
- Civil emergencies
- Disease outbreaks
- Missing children and persons
- Contaminated/unsafe water
- Power outages
- Severe weather expected
- Police activity and updates
- Emergency instructions to keep you safe
Download the free app at onsolve.com/crmobile. The public also can enroll to receive free emergency notifications in their area by texting LVALERT to 99411 or go online to https://public.coderedweb.com/CNE/BF1085069456. Be sure to keep your email/phone number updated with CodeRED if you make changes to those. Emergency phone notifications would be received from 866-419-5000; community alerts would come from 855-969-4636. Emails would be received from emergencymanagement@noreply.com. Adding these phone numbers and email to your cell phone contacts can help you quickly identify real emergency messages when received.
