City Of Las Vegas Announces Grants Available
To Nonprofit Organizations
Two-Year Funding Applications For CDBG, ESG & HOPWA Grants Available Online Now
The city of Las Vegas grant application process will open today for two-year funding for qualified nonprofit organizations for Community Development Block grants for public service only (CDBG) and Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA) grants. Also opening today are applications for the Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) program. The Requests for Proposals, Public Notice of Funding and Application Manual with details on eligible applicants and requirements are available for review and download on the city of Las Vegas website. The deadline for submitting completed applications is 3 p.m. PST Nov. 18, 2021. Funding will be allocated by the Las Vegas City Council with recommendations from the 13-member Community Development Recommending Board.
TECHNICAL WORKSHOPS
Organizations planning to apply for city of Las Vegas grants are required to attend one of the application workshops. Workshops are mandatory; applicants must attend a technical assistance workshop in order to apply for one of the available grants. An RSVP is required to attend; contact Vanessa Velazquez at vvelazquez@lasvegasnevada.gov to register. Both workshops will be held at Las Vegas City Hall, 495 S. Main St.
