This week kicks off Virtual Employee Appreciation Week with several activities organized by the Employee Recognition Committee. I hope you all have a chance to participate and that it brings some well-deserved fun and levity to what has been a challenging year. I want to thank each and every one of you for working so hard through this incredibly difficult year and keeping vital government services in operation when the community really needed us. Our core values are kind, committed, and smart. At no time have you displayed those more than in 2020. I appreciate all of you and the challenges we have been able to overcome as a team. As you begin this special week, please know how much you are appreciated and valued as a city employee.
