Fire Damages House In Bonanza Village - July 5
Cause of Fire is Undetermined
Las Vegas firefighters responded to the Bonanza Village subdivision near W. Washington Avenue and Martin L. King Boulevard at 8:42 a.m. Sunday, July 5 after fire dispatchers received several calls that black smoke was coming from a home.
Firefighters found heavy flames and smoke coming from the rear of a one story house at 1810 Goldhill Ave. A large patio cover attached to the house was on fire and the fire was extending to the interior of the house.
Firefighters quickly attacked the fire and had it under control in less than 15 minutes.
The fire completely gutted the large patio and there was some damage to the interior of the home. Damage was estimated at $100,000.
The cause of the fire is undetermined.
Two adults are displaced because of the fire. They did not need assistance from the Red Cross.
There were no injuries during the incident.
