Call Center To Assist Public With Questions About City Services

Opens Today

Vital City Services Will Continue For The Public

The city of Las Vegas will open a call center today at 1 p.m. to take calls from the public with questions about city services during the coronavirus pandemic. The public can call 702-229-CARE (2273) from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Friday through Sunday the line will give callers automated options. This line will not be live until 1 p.m., on Thursday, March 19.

The city is working to add the ability for callers to make payments for city services, such as sewer bills, over the phone so that they can better practice social distancing. Many other city services are already available online at www.lasvegasnevada.gov.

On Wednesday, the city moved forward with closing of public areas in City Hall, Municipal Court, community centers, the Development Services Center, cultural centers and other city facilities to limit places where people gather as part of precautions against the spread of the coronavirus.

The city will continue to update coronavirus information, including closures and cancellations, at www.lasvegasnevada.gov/coronavirus.
