Las Vegas Fire & Rescue Firefighter Recruits Graduate

Graduation Ceremonies Are Open To The Public Beginning At 2 P.M. At City Hall
Eighteen Las Vegas Fire & Rescue firefighter recruits who have completed intensive training over the past 26 weeks will graduate tomorrow, Aug. 22, in a 2 p.m. ceremony at Las Vegas City Hall. Ceremonies will be held in Council Chambers on the second floor at 495 S. Main St. The new firefighters will be assigned to various city fire stations to help strengthen the number of firefighters in the city of Las Vegas.
Class 2019-2 began Feb. 25, 2019 and have received training in various subjects pertaining to firefighting, emergency medical services and hazardous materials. Upon graduation, the new firefighters will be given their assignments to report to one of 21 city fire stations, beginning their duties next week.
