Mayor Carolyn G. Goodman And Councilman Cedric Crear To Break Ground On Two New Parking Garages Bringing Nearly 30,000-Square-Feet Of Retail Opportunities To Symphony Park

New Garages Will Add More Than 1,200 Parking Spaces Benefiting Future Development

Mayor Carolyn G. Goodman and Ward 5 Councilman Cedric Crear will celebrate the start of construction on two new parking garages coming to Symphony Park at 10 a.m. today. The ceremony will take place on Parcel B located off Grand Central Parkway in Symphony Park directly west of the Discovery Children’s Museum and The Smith Center for the Performing Arts.

The $33 million project will see contractor Whiting-Turner construct two four-level garages on Symphony Park Parcels B & L (see map). The garage on Parcel B is set to be completed in August 2019 and will feature 694 parking spaces and 23,370 square feet of ground-floor retail space. The garage on Parcel L is scheduled to be completed in September 2019 and will feature 569 spaces and 5,841 square feet of ground-floor retail.

The garages provide needed infrastructure as well as new retail space that will benefit current and future developments in Symphony Park. Located on 61 acres in the heart of downtown Las Vegas, Symphony Park is an upscale jewel that is home to arts, culture, science and medicine.

Symphony Park features construction-ready sites with infrastructure in place and developer incentives available. Adjacent to business catalysts that include World Market Center Las Vegas, Las Vegas North Premium Outlets and Molasky Corporate Center, Symphony Park is centrally located in Las Vegas with easy access to U.S. 95 and Interstate 15.
