City Of Las Vegas September 2018 Senior Special Events

Las Vegas Residents Invited To Celebrations, Luncheons & Activities At City Centers


     The city of Las Vegas active adult and senior centers offer exercise, fitness, craft, arts, dance, music and computer classes; cards; games; discussion and social groups; luncheons; sports; and special events Monday through Friday to residents age 50 and better. Many of these activities contribute to wellness and a healthy lifestyle. A listing of classes and activities is published in the Beyond the Neon Leisure Guide, available online at www.lasvegasparksandrec.com and in the centers. All activities are subject to change. Most activities require $10 annual membership in city of Las Vegas Active Adult/Senior Citizen Programs, available at all senior and active adult centers.

 

Apple Pancakes Breakfast (ages 50+)
Friday, Sept. 7, 9:30 a.m.
Cost: $5.

Senior Masquerade Ball (ages 50+)

Cost: $10/per person.

Wear your finest attire (and a mask) to enjoy an evening of good music, dancing, stimulating conversation, finger foods, and punch. Advance registration required. Registration opens Monday, Aug. 6, at 8 a.m.

9-Ball Tournament (ages 50+)

Wednesday, Sept. 26, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Cost: $1.
