Lane Closures Part of Ongoing Sewer Pipe
Rehabilitation Project
The closure of two lanes along eastbound Charleston
Boulevard between U.S. 95 and Marion Drive will begin July 8 at 9 p.m. and continue
through 3 p.m. Aug. 3, 2018. The closure
of two lanes along westbound
Charleston Boulevard between Marion Drive and U.S. 95 will begin July 12 and
continue through Aug. 3, 2018. These will be around-the-clock lane closures for
24-hour work to rehabilitate an existing 51-inch sanitary sewer pipeline and
manholes that are within Charleston Boulevard.
Expect traffic delays in the area
while the work is being done. Motorists
are encouraged to consider alternate routes, i.e. Stewart Avenue, Bonanza Road,
and Sahara Avenue.
Las
Vegas Paving is the contractor. The $2.75 million budgeted cost of this portion
of the Group A Sewer Rehabilitation Project is being paid for with city of Las
Vegas Sanitation funds. Those with questions
