Kids
Summer Camps and Teen Adventure Camp
Through Aug. 10, Monday-Friday, excluding
July 4.
There
are specialized camp activities each week focusing on sports, science, art,
dance and more. The types of summer camps include Tot Camp (4-and
5-year-olds), Kids Camp (ages 6-11 and have completed kindergarten), Teen
Adventure Camp (ages 12-15) and a Counselor-in-Training program
(ages 15+). Mirabelli and Veterans Memorial will offer specialty themed-week
camps. See the Mirabelli and Veterans Memorial camp lists. The popular Teen
Adventure Camp is offered at all community centers, and features bus trips to
fascinating spots all over Southern Nevada. Camps and most activities require
advance registration. All locations offer kids camp, 7 a.m. to 6
p.m. Monday-Friday*, excluding holidays. Teen Adventure Camp days may vary.
Prices vary by location and age group. A one-time, non-refundable $20
transportation fee will be charged for each kids camp participant. Registration

Safekey/IGNITE
are out-of-school youth enrichment programs offered at Clark
County School District elementary and middle schools. These programs are designed
for children grades
K-5 (Safekey) and grades 6-8 (IGNITE). Daily
and weekly scheduled activities include physical fitness, arts and crafts,
music, drama, games, reading time, special events, homework time and a
nutritional afternoon snack. Safekey/IGNITE are pre-paid programs; hours vary by school location.
Financial assistance may be available for qualifying families. Registration

American Red Cross program in which successful participants will learn
essential pool lifesaving skills and earn Junior Lifeguarding certification. This fun camp is a great environment for kids that
may want to become a lifeguard. Participants must bring with them each day
to camp a
swim suit, towel, change of clothes, lunch, snacks
and drinks.

action and exercise this summer? Event will begin with a 1.5-mile run
from Pavilion Center Pool, winding through Veterans Memorial Park. Race will
conclude with a 300-meter swim in the pool. There is no age limit, but
participants must be able to swim 100 meters successfully. Minimum of 10
