New Las Vegas Traffic Signal Postponed Until Tonight

Signal Located At Clark County 215 / Ann Road

Activation for the new traffic signal, located at the intersection of northbound Clark County 215 (CC-215) and the Ann Road on/off-ramp (east side of the interchange), previously scheduled for 9 p.m. Tuesday, has been postponed 24 hours due to inclement weather. Activation into all-way, red-flash mode, indicating a four-way stop, is now rescheduled for approximately 9 p.m. Wednesday, May 2. This signal will be placed into full red-yellow-green operation mode by 4 a.m. Thursday morning, May 3.

This work was completed as part of the CC-215 freeway improvements in northwest Las Vegas.  The traffic-signal operation will coincide with new traffic-control patterns that are set to take effect early Thursday morning.  Any concerns regarding this freeway improvements project should be addressed to the Clark County Public Works Department.  According to inter-local traffic-signal maintenance agreements, this traffic signal will be maintained by the city of Las Vegas.

City of Las Vegas Public Works staff will be on site with contractor representatives Wednesday night and Thursday morning to activate the new traffic signal and monitor for proper functioning.
