Mariachi Sol De Mexico De Jose Hernandez At Centennial Hills Park 4-6 P.M.
Residents
of all ages are invited to join Ward 6 Councilwoman Michele Fiore and Ward 4
Councilman Stavros S. Anthony Sunday, May 6, 4 to 6 p.m., for a free
celebration in the Centennial Hills Park Amphitheatre. World-renowned Mariachi Sol de Mexico de José Hernández will entertain from the stage; food
and beverages, including alcoholic beverages, will be available for purchase. See

José
Hernández has been recognized internationally as an innovator in both
mariachi music and mariachi education for the past 30 years. He is the founder
of Mariachi Sol de Mexico and Mariachi Reyna de Los Angeles, America’s first
all-female professional mariachi ensemble. A lifelong musician, Hernández has arranged and produced
recordings for famous musicians, toured the world and performed movie scores
with Mariachi Sol de Mexico, and received a Grammy nomination for his
music.
“Mariachi Sol de Mexico de José Hernández is a fabulous performing group – too good to
miss,” said Councilwoman Fiore. “I hope everyone comes to enjoy this free
concert in the park.”

great music, the beautiful park, and an opportunity to get together as a
community,” said Councilman Anthony. “Let’s celebrate together!”
Centennial
Hills Park is located at 7101 N. Buffalo Drive at Deer Springs Way. The event
is sponsored by the Latin Chamber of Commerce, American Medical Response,
FitPro, The Plaza Hotel & Casino, Laborers International Union 872 of North
America, KlossCo Properties, Republic Services, NV Energy and the city of Las
Vegas. Individuals must be age 21 or older and show appropriate photo
identification to purchase alcoholic beverages.
