City Of Las Vegas Unveils New West Las Vegas Arts Center Mural May 11

Meet The Artist Dray And Learn More About The Artwork

The city of Las Vegas will unveil a new mural at the West Las Vegas Arts Center, 947 W. Lake Mead Blvd., Friday, May 11. The community is invited to the event which will take place from 4 to 6 p.m. and feature a meet and greet with Las Vegas-based artist Dray.

A panel of art professionals, including members of city staff and the city’s Arts Commission, selected Dray’s proposal for the mural, which has a theme of building relationships. He began painting on March 28 and is expected to complete the project by the end of April. City staff hopes the mural will beautify the environment, promote community engagement and detract from negative activity.
