April 2026
 Dear District G Residents,
We've got a busy month planned for our District G residents. Make sure to check out all of the events happening in Clark County District G, including City of Henderson and Boulder City. Several Easter events are scheduled early this month that require preregistration; you can check out the fliers below for information on how to get registered.
The Paradise Town Advisory Board (TAB) has an opening for a new board member. The application deadline is April 9th, so if you're interested in shaping the future of your community, check out the flyer below under the TAB & CAC Updates banner. Click on the flier and you will be directed to the website page for information.
Traffic safety continues to be a serious issue valley wide. It's so important to pay attention and be aware of your surroundings, especially in school zones. And remember, texting while driving is distracting and illegal. Stay safe!
As always, do not hesitate to email me at DistrictG@clarkcountynv.gov or call my office at (702) 455-3500 with any questions or concerns you may have. You can also follow me on Facebook, Instagram and X.

Outdoor landscape watering is the largest use of our community’s water supply, and removing unused grass is one of the most effective ways to save water. Many property owners also see meaningful reductions in their monthly water bills.
To make grass conversions even easier, the Southern Nevada Water Authority (SNWA) is offering homeowners an increased rebate of $5 per square foot for replacing unused turf with water‑efficient landscaping. Thanks to a recent increase, homeowners aren’t the only ones receiving more money: businesses, HOAs, and multi‑family properties now also receive $5 per square foot for up to 10,000 square feet of decorative, nonfunctional grass. This enhanced Water Smart Landscapes Rebate supports the community-wide effort to help save water. Additionally, property owners are also eligible for a $100 incentive for every additional tree planted in their landscape. More trees increase shade, help lower power bills and improve air quality.
Homeowners are encouraged to check with their local water provider to see if additional rebates or incentives are available for their conversions. For details on the Water Smart Landscapes program, seasonal watering schedules, or tips to maintain a healthy, water‑efficient yard, visit snwa.com.

Henderson’s parks, trails, rec centers, programs and events are more than mere amenities; they are the essential infrastructure that shape our community’s shared identity and enhance the quality of life of our residents. In 1997, Henderson voters approved a $0.12 property tax dedicated to Henderson Parks & Rec. This funding will end in 2027 unless Henderson residents vote to renew it on June 9, 2026.
EARLY VOTING BEGINS MAY 23, 2026. VOTE BY JUNE 9, 2026.
