Henderson’s judicial candidate filing period is open now until Friday, January 12, for the position of Municipal Court Judge, Dept. 3.
The Office of the City Clerk will extend its operating hours to include Fridays to accommodate candidate filing. Candidates seeking to file must do so by completing the required filing packet available at cityofhenderson.com and scheduling an in-person appointment at the Office of the City Clerk inside Henderson City Hall Monday through Friday between 8am and 5pm.
Henderson City Hall is a voting and ballot drop-off location for the upcoming Nevada Presidential Preference Primary. Early voting begins January 27 – February 2, with election day on February 6. Visit cityofhenderson.com for additional details.
Throughout the 2024 election, the City of Henderson is encouraging its young residents to learn all about voting during the upcoming election season! Kids who come into Henderson City Hall with a registered voter can also cast a ballot on their favorite ice cream and receive an “I voted” sticker.
