The West Flamingo Senior Center hosted an outdoor Blues Brunch on April 15th. It was a wonderful experience for all who attended. The event was held in the center's beautiful park, which was transformed into a comfortable concert venue with tables and chairs. Participants were treated to a morning of incredible music, with a live blues band playing on a stage set up in the park. The music was soulful and inspired many to get right up and dance. The West Flamingo Senior Center serves active adults ages 50+ and is located at Flamingo and Jones in District A. Program Supervisor Veronica Reyes and her team work to offer a wide variety of programs throughout the week including fitness, sports, dance, arts and crafts, work shops, and card games.
"I love the West Flamingo Senior Center," said Clark County Commissioner Michael Naft. "There are always friendly faces to greet you, helpful staff to assist you, and programs to keep you energized."
Stop in Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm to meet the staff and learn more about the center.

This is the largest coordinated campaign involving 32 first responder agencies statewide to encourage the public to register to become organ, eye and tissue donors. The campaign includes a competition to see which agency can do the most outreach during Donate Life Month.
Currently over 100,000 are on the national waiting list for a lifesaving organ, over 600 are Nevadans.
