Celebrate Spring with our annual Spring Carnival at the Ranch. Enjoy fun activities for the whole family with carnival games, bounce houses, and refreshments. Children ages 1-10 years can participate in the Hippity-Hop Egg Hunt. Parents, please be on time, the egg hunt starts promptly at the designated times for each age group. Early registration is $5. Splash into our pool and dive for hundreds of eggs that are hiding. Children will compete to gather the most eggs against others their age for prizes and treats. Those requiring lifejackets must have an adult within arm’s reach during the event. Open swimming, arts and crafts, and snacks begin at 1 p.m. Age-divided egg dives start at 2 p.m. Please bring a basket to hold your eggs. All ages are welcome, admission is $5 per person. Enjoy some time in the outdoors on our self-guided egg hunt at the Bird Viewing Preserve. Registered participants will receive a map and sticker set from the front desk. When you locate an egg, put a sticker over the location found. Once you have located all the eggs you can redeem your map for a prize in the Bird Preserve Gift Shop. Get out and get active this Spring at our neighborhood festival. There are activities for the whole family including games, entertainment, local artists, and music. Silver Springs instructors will demo classes offered at the center. Food trucks will be onsite to purchase refreshments. Wristbands include the bounce house, face painting, and entry into the cake walk will be $3 in advance and $5 at the door. For more information, click here.

Celebrate Earth Day by taking a run or walk down the Harry Reid Union Pacific Railroad Trail! Bibs, t-shirts, and medals will be recycled (unused) from previous 5Ks. After the run, join us for a cleanup on the trail from 10 a.m. until noon. The 5K run begins promptly at 9 a.m. and the walk at 9:30 a.m. Ages 5 and up are welcome to participate.
