Happy Summer Neighbors!
These long summer evenings are a great time to get out and visit a park. Clark County Parks and Recreation's Park Locator is a great tool to help you find parks near you. You can search by Commission District, area, or the amenities offered. Check it out here: https://parkslocator.clarkcountynv.gov/
As always, please feel free to contact me and my team by phone at (702) 455-3500 or by email at ccdistf@clarkcountynv.gov. You can also follow me @JustinJonesNV on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram to keep up with the latest events in the District.

Sandy Valley celebrated Independence Day with a fantastic parade and family fun at the park with food and games. George Knipp - known to everyone in Sandy Valley as Poor Ole George - was the Grand Marshall of the parade and rode down the parade route in style in a vintage red convertible. In addition to the horses, fire trucks, and floats, the Sandy Valley Yacht Club made an appearance with their boat being towed by a John Deere tractor!
