On November 17th, Clark County introduced FixIt Clark County - a new tool to help residents report their concerns and complaints regarding Roads, Code Violations, Trash, Short Term Rentals, and many other issues. FixIt Clark County can be accessed through an app for your mobile devices or through the County website. This video gives you a brief overview of the app. If you choose to access FixIt through the County website, here are some steps to help you get started.
Get to the FixIt Clark County page by clicking here or going to www.clarkcountynv.gov and choosing "Report An Issue" from the "Residents" drop down menu.
If your concern is regarding one of the issues at the top of the screen, just click on the appropriate box and you will be taken to the map screen to specify the location. If your issue is about something else, scroll down to the map and click on the "New Request" button. You can enter a specific address or move the map around and zoom in/out until the orange pointer is on the correct location. The default map shows the street view, but you can click in the upper right corner to toggle to the satellite view. When you have found the location, click "Confirm Location."
After you confirm the location, choose a topic from the list that most closely matches your concern. On the next page you can submit a photo. Although your complaint can be submitted without a photo, they are extremely helpful to staff when researching and routing your concern.
On the next page you will provide details about your concern. Questions will prompt you to provide information that is specific to the type of issue you are reporting.
You will be given the option of whether to have your user name visible to the public on the next page.
Finally, you will be asked to sign into your account if you have one or to register for a new account. By creating an account, you will receive notifications about the status of your request, the ability to add comments, and keep track of all of your submitted requests.
After submitting your request, you will receive an acknowledgement email similar to the example below.
Clicking on the "Reply" button at the bottom of the message takes you to your request you can make comments and view other details. From there you can also submit a new request, see other requests in the area, and access all of the features that FixIt Clark County has to offer.
