Santa Fe NM's 2026 "I Voted" Student Sticker Contest Winners Announced
Public Elects Santa Fe County Student Sticker Contest Winners by Ranked Choice Voting
Santa Fe, NM —The Santa Fe County Clerk’s Office is proud to congratulate the student winners of the 2026 Student Sticker Design Contest. Their joyful, Santa Fe-themed designs will be available to voters during the 2026 General Election, bringing local creativity and student voices directly to the polls.
First place was awarded to Inelyin Mejia Reyes of Nava Elementary School. Joey Bustamante of The Masters Program and Leesi Whittaker-Begody of Nava Elementary School tied for second place.
The winning stickers were chosen through a public ranked-choice voting process, inviting community members to help select the designs that voters will see and collect throughout this fall’s election. The contest seeks to carry on a simple Santa Fe County tradition: young people contributing their imagination, civic pride, and unique sense of place to a shared community moment.
“Santa Fe County’s students bring so much color, character, and heart to this contest,” said the Santa Fe County Clerk’s Office. “These stickers are a celebration of their artwork and a reminder that civic participation belongs to all of us: students, families, neighbors, and voters alike.”
The Clerk’s Office has held the Student Sticker Design Contest since 2021 and looks forward to welcoming even more student artists for the next Regular Local Election in 2027.
