Somerset County 4-H and the Somerset County Food Bank Need Your Help!
Around Somerset County are small food pantries. Some are frequently visited and need to be refilled. The food bank is giving us more food to help meet the demand, we need 4-H families and friends to help us fill these pantries.
How can you help? We are asking families and friends to sign up to help deliver supplies. You would pick them up at the 4-H Center and deliver them to one of six locations around the county. After you deliver them to a location, please let us know about the condition of the pantry and how much was supplied.
Locations
- Adamsville Elementary School - 400 Union Ave, Bridgewater
- Bridgewater YMCA - 601 Garretson Rd, Bridgewater
- Hillsborough YMCA - 19 E Mountain Rd, Hillsborough
- Somerville YMCA - 2 Green St, Somerville
- Good Shepherd Lutheran Church - 300 Union Ave, Somerville
- Mariposa Park - 215 W Main St, Bound Brook

Did You Know….
If your club meets at the 4-H Center, there is a bag for each room that contains dry erase markers, an eraser, and a gavel to use for your meeting. Leaders may get one from the night manager. Be sure to return it when your meeting is finished. If your club meets offsite, the office has flag sets and gavels you can use.
