 Registration for ZSuite is now open. Returning 4-H youth members and leaders please follow the attached directions to log into your ZSuite account and re-register. New members must first complete the paper membership form with their leaders and then complete the ZSuite registration. Reminder: All 4-H members MUST be registered in ZSuite. CWF @ IGNITE: Applications Due Friday, September 26

Through CWF @ IGNITE, teens will experience Washington D.C. like never before! Using the nation's capital as their classroom, CWF connects young leaders from across the country to gain the skills and experiences to become change agents in their communities.

Youth Birding STEP Club
Join us for 6 week seasonal sessions in Autumn 2025 and Spring 2026 to learn about unique features of birds, develop bird ID skills, & engage in participatory science through birding. Meetings will be based on the Cornell Lab of Ornithology curriculum and include outdoor birding sessions. Spend time in nature visiting different parks around Somerset County.
Where: Ted Blum 4-H Center, 310 Milltown Road in Bridgewater and local parks (subject to change).
When: Second & Fourth Wednesdays from 4:30-5:30pm from September 24 through December 10, 2025
Grades: 5 and up

2025 Somerset County 4-H Clover Awards: Recommendations Due October 1, 2025
The “Clover Awards” are presented once a year to four active 4-H members that exhibit and uphold the characteristics of the “Clover”: heart, heart, hands, health. One award will be present to a youth member per category. (Ex- one member exhibiting heart, one member exhibiting health, one member exhibiting hands, and one member exhibiting head).
4-H members may be nominated for these awards by adult volunteers and/or office staff. Recommendations may not be from a family member. Recommendations must be emailed to the office at SomersetCounty4H@co.somerset.nj.us by October 1. Candidates will be selected and announced at individual division achievement dinners.

4-H Ag Ambassador Application - Due: October 1, 2025
The application for the 2025-2026 New Jersey 4-H Agriculture Ambassador Program is now open. This opportunity is open to 4-H members who are currently in grades 9 through 13.
Now entering its second year, this statewide program is open to all 4-H members with an interest in agriculture, animal science, food systems, natural resources, or related fields. Eligible youth are highly encouraged to apply and take advantage of this unique leadership and educational experience.
The 4-H Agriculture Ambassador Program is designed to develop youth leaders who are passionate about promoting agriculture and increasing public understanding of its importance in New Jersey and beyond. Participants will gain valuable skills in communication, career readiness, advocacy, and leadership while engaging in hands-on learning experiences, networking opportunities, and outreach events. Ambassadors will also represent NJ 4-H at various local and statewide agricultural events throughout the program year.
Applications are due by October 1st 2025, and selected ambassadors will be notified by October 10th.

4-H Medieval Jubilee: Saturday, October 4
10am-5pm at the Ted Blum 4-H Center
A land of merriment awaits at the 4H Medieval Jubilee at our 4-H Center! Step back through time with a day full of adventures inspired by medieval Europe, with workshops, entertainment and a bustling artisan marketplace. Admission is $15, Children 5 years old & under get in for FREE! Rain or shine for this exciting fundraiser for the 4-H Association.
