Herdsman Applications:

A Herdsman is a Somerset County 4-H member representing ALL 4-H project areas that sleeps overnight in Fair tents to make sure ALL projects and equipment are safe and secure overnight. They also help to make everything clean and neat for the next day.
Also, please attend our Herdsman Round Table at the 4-H Center Gym on June 30, 7-9 PM.

Somerset County 4-H TOPS Camp: Spots Still Available!
June 30 - July 3, 2025, SPACE LIMITED!
TOPS Camp is a 4-day week of fun, friends, and fascination! With a combination of outdoor activities, educational workshops, experiments with science, and making new friends – this is the perfect week-long Summer Day Camp! Experience opportunities like woodworking, arts, theater, nature, animals, geology, Olympics, water fun, games, a field trip, guest speakers, dancing, cooking, tie-dying, leadership, and bonding!

National 4-H Congress: Applications Due Thursday, July 10
National 4-H Congress is the flagship event of the 4-H program. It is a national leadership conference held each year over the Thanksgiving Holiday Weekend (Friday, November 28- December 2, 2025). Youth from the US and its territories have participated in this leadership development conference. National Congress provides youth with a quality educational and cross-cultural experience.
Applicants must be 4-H members in good standing, in grades 10-13, and must have completed at least one full 4-H year.

Laminating for 4-H Fair
Clubs may drop off items (posters/pictures/signs) between July 1st - July 28. All items for laminating must be dropped off at the 4-H office M - F between 9:00 am – 4:00 pm. Please write your name/club/phone # on the back of each item, and we will contact you when it’s ready for pickup. Reminders – No glitter. Items for lamination must be between 8 ½” x 11” to 24” x 36”. We will not accept anything smaller or larger as the laminator can only accommodate these sizes

Club Exhibit Judging
We love to see the creative club displays at the fair every year!
A great display includes 4-H clovers, the fair theme (jungle), and all things that make your club unique.
Please also keep sustainability in mind when designing your displays. Try to incorporate reusable and/or recyclable materials, and try to avoid single use/throw away items.
