New Jersey’s Changing Climate: Monday, June 2
Join us for a talk with Dr. David Robinson - Distinguished Professor & New Jersey State Climatologist from Rutgers University. He will discuss New Jersey’s recent climate that has been the wettest and warmest in over a century of observations. Extreme weather events, including Ida, Sandy, and Irene, along with many hot summers, suggest that something is happening to NJ’s climate regime. Natural variations alone cannot account for these anomalies. Human influence is significant, prompting discussion as to how society might develop greater resiliency to increasing climate change.
This talk is free and open to the public! Registration required!
