We have switched to a new online system – Zsuite. If you are participating in 4-H this year, you must create a new account and register completely by December 30th. Failure to do so, will result in you being removed from the club.

4-H Community Holiday Dinner: Place Orders by Tonight, Wednesday, December 18th
Wednesday, December 25, 2024
With the approach of the Holidays, we are once again looking for food donations for the 4-H Free Holiday Community Dinner.
While out shopping, if you could grab a few extra items to donate it would be a big help!
The following is what we will need as donations:
-Desserts that will pack and travel well
-Bread such as dinner rolls, French bread, Italian bread etc.
-Canned veggies (only carrots or peas)
-Bagged lettuce

PA Farm Show Trip: Registration Due Monday, December 23rd

4-H Members in grades 9-13 are invited to join Somerset County 4-H for a field trip to the PA Farm Show on January 5th, 2025! Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis and space is limited. Cost is $20. To register visit the link below:

It is that time of year where we are looking for a theme for the 2025 Somerset County 4-H Fair! We are excited to hear the potential fair themes as they are submitted by Somerset County 4-H youth members. This survey must be completed by December 31st. Please connect with your club leaders for access to the survey.

CALLING ALL YOUTH GRADES 2-8!
Are you interested in computer science and coding? Have you always wanted to create your own games? Join our new Coding STEP (Short Term Exploratory Program) Club! This club will focus on game creation using MIT Scratch.

Somerset County 4-H members know that if you work hard, have fun, believe in yourself, dream big, and never give up, anything is possible!
Help support our 4-H Arts Clubs and buy a T-Shirt!
T-shirts are light blue and available in youth small & medium and adult small – 2XL.

…that Head, Heart, Hands, and Health are the four H’s in 4 H? They are the four values members work on through fun and engaging programs. It’s important for clubs to say the 4-H pledge at each meeting to help members feel a sense of belonging, commit to something larger than themselves, and develop in positive ways. The 4-H Pledge is said after the Pledge of Allegiance. The 4-H Pledge hangs in all the meeting rooms in the 4-H Center and can be found in English and Spanish at the link below:
