We are moving into our new 4-H Online Database called ZSuite. The Website is: https://4h.zsuite.org/. All returning 4-H youth members and 4-H volunteers are required to register in ZSuite. NEW - Young Inventors STEP (Short Term Exploratory Program) Club: Sign Up by Monday, October 21
4-H, in conjunction with the Henry Ford National Invention Convention, is offering an opportunity for youth to identify a real life problem, research and design a solution for that problem, and present it to judges. All members will participate in a state level competition and some will have the opportunity to participate in the national competition. Join this STEP club today!
Open to youth in grades 6-8.

4-H Fundraiser - Dine Out with 4-H at the Bridgewater Applebee's: Tuesday, October 22
Share a meal with friends and family and help support 4-H. If you dine at the Bridgewater Applebee's on Tuesday, October 22nd, 2024, and mention Somerset County 4-H Association, 10% of your total bill (excludes tax, tip, and alcohol) will be donated to 4-H.

4-H Wreath Sale - Club Order Totals Due: November 1, 2023
Attention all 4-H Members, Parents, Leaders, and Association Members - The annual 4-H Wreath Sale begins in October. All Somerset County 4-H Members, 4-H Leaders, and 4-H Association Members are asked to take orders for 4-H Wreaths. Selling 4-H wreaths helps pay for the costs of operating the 4-H Center and helps keep the 4-H Fair free for the public, so participation is strongly recommended.
Leaders MUST EMAIL club total orders to sc4Hwreaths@gmail.com by November 1st.

4-H Ag-Venture Day - Fall Harvest: Thursday and Friday, November 7, 8
Register by October 24th
On November 7th and 8th 2024 (8:30 am-4:30 pm) Somerset County 4-H will be presenting 4-H Ag-Venture Day: Fall Harvest. For youth in grades 1st-5th, taking place at the Somerset County 4-H Center. Youth will work together with skilled volunteers to create a better awareness of agriculture sustainability. Youth participants will learn how to become better stewards of the land as it relates to agriculture supply chain management, and this year the theme is Fall Harvest.

Building a Better You: Saturday, November 23
9am-12:30pm, Register By November 15th
Building a Better You! is a day full of workshops that provide youth participants with the opportunity to explore public speaking, resume building, cover letter writing, and interview practice all while creating a positive YOU statement! There is so much to explore in these workshops so register to learn more! This program is open to all grades 8-13, you do not have to be a 4-H member to attend. Snacks will be provided.
