DID YOU KNOW...
...About This Community Service Opportunity for 4-H Clubs? - Hurricane Relief The Pluckemin Church has been in touch with their sister church, First Presbyterian Church of Asheville, NC. Fortunately, their building was not damaged by hurricane Helene and they have power & Wi-Fi. Thus, they are able to mobilize and serve as a collection point to help their devastated community. The water system in Asheville has been severely damaged with no estimate as to when it will be restored. Their main request for help as of now is for water. Pluckemin Church is asking the community to donate cases of bottled water which can be easily stacked in a truck, and/or "life straws," which will be driven to Asheville as soon as we can fill a box truck with donations. Donations can be left on the porch outside the church office at 279 Route 202-206 in Pluckemin, NJ. Thank you, 4-H Leader Lisa Hanlon, for sharing this information.
