Copying for 4-H Fair
Clubs may drop off items to be copied between July 1st - August 1st. All items for coping must be dropped off at the 4-H office M - F between 9:00 am – 4:00 pm. Please write your name/club/phone # on the back of each item, or on a sticky attached to the item, and we will contact you when it’s ready for pickup. Please note – only RCE staff may use the copy machines.
Laminating for 4-H Fair
Clubs may drop off items (posters/pictures/signs) between July 1st - August 1st. All items for laminating must be dropped off at the 4-H office M - F between 9:00 am – 4:00 pm. Please write your name/club/phone # on the back of each item, and we will contact you when it’s ready for pickup. Reminders – No glitter. Items for lamination must be between 8 ½” x 11” to 24” x 36”. We will not accept anything smaller or larger as the laminator can only accommodate these sizes

Download the 4-H Fair App and GroupMe for 4-H Fair Updates and Alerts!
Thanks to the Computer club, this year we will be using the Somerset County 4-H Fair App for our emergency alert system. Please download it using the url: https://sc4hfair.app/ and follow the directions on the homepage along with selecting Enable Notifications.
The App will contain the following: • Emergency Alerts • Food Tent Menus • Customizable daily schedules • Reminders • Interactive Map • Weather Updates • Social Media Feed • Scavenger Hunt with a prize (pick up prize in info tent)
GroupMe
This year we will also be sending out communications such as emergency alerts and 4-H Fair updates through GroupMe. Download the GroupMe app and please use the QR code above to join the GroupMe chat if you would like to receive alerts.

Parade of Clubs
All clubs are invited to participate in the annual Parade of Clubs on Wed. August 7th! Gather at 7:15 pm outside the Prep Tent. Parade kicks off at 7:30 pm (on a new shorter route). 4-H Goodie Bags included for each club that marches! Live animals welcome, as well as signs, banners, props and costumes!

Commercial Vendors
The Somerset County 4-H Association welcomes both nonprofit and commercial organizations to exhibit and sell their goods and services while supporting our motto of Free Family Fun! We invite those looking to sell their homemade items, including but not limited to crafters, soaps, and candles. Open Division
Open to ALL 4-H members to show off your creative talents at fair!
Open division is open to any age (prep will get judges’ comments). Entries can be anything created throughout the year from a school project to a hobby including: Creative Arts • Crafts • Creative Writing • Fiber & Spinner’s Choice • Needlecrafts • Photography • Performing Arts • Vegetable & Flower • Woodworking. NEW THIS YEAR: Animal Science & Agricultural Poster!
All projects can be brought to the 4-H Center (upstairs lounge) between July 29 – August 1, 9am - 4pm or during evening clubs. Entries will not be accepted after 3PM on Thursday, August 1 with the exception of Vegetable & Flower which will be dropped off on Tuesday, 8/6 from 9am – 8:30pm.
