IMPORTANT NOTICE – FRAUD ALERT
TRENTON -- Both the public and personal email accounts of Mercer County Clerk Paula Sollami Covello were recently fraudulently imitated. There are reports of fraudulent invoices requesting payment being sent to the clerk’s email contacts from both of her email addresses. PLEASE DO NOT SEND MONEY OR GIVE PERSONAL BANK INFORMATION in response to these solicitations. The Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office Cyber Crimes Unit is currently reviewing the matter. Anyone who believes they have received a fraudulent invoice should contact the Cyber Crimes Unit at 609-989-6351. If you have a question about an invoice that you feel may be legitimate, please contact the Office of the Mercer County Clerk to verify at 609-989-6465.
