NH PDAB Announces Members of Stakeholder Advisory Council
The New Hampshire Prescription Drug Affordability Board Announces Local and State Leaders of the Inaugural Stakeholder Advisory Council to Lower Prescription Drug Costs
Concord, NH –The New Hampshire Prescription Drug Affordability Board (NH PDAB) is pleased to announce the initial members of the inaugural Stakeholder Advisory Council (Council), as established under RSA 126-BB:4.
The Council is a 12-member advisory body designed to provide feedback and insight to the NH PDAB on various implementation and policy considerations to improve prescription drug affordability for Granite Staters. The initial members include:
- The governor, or designee (Vacant)
- Cassie Keane, Deputy Commissioner, New Hampshire Department of Administrative Services
- Benjamin Carbone, Chief of Pharmacy, New Hampshire Department of Corrections
- David Chorney, Deputy Medicaid Director, New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services
- Duncan Edgar, Attorney, New Hampshire Department of Justice
- Joyce Pitman, Director of Risk and Benefits, New Hampshire Department of Administrative Services
- Rich Gulla, President, New Hampshire State Employees Association
- Megan Tuttle, President, New Hampshire Education Association
- Jeanne Herrick, General Counsel, HealthTrust
- James McGrail, Chief Human Resources Officer, University System of New Hampshire
- Sara Sawyer, Chief Human Resources Officer, Community College System of New Hampshire
- Tyler Brannen, Senior Health Economist, BerryDunn

Members of the NH PDAB and the Council consists of New Hampshire residents from all walks of life who bring their valuable perspective and expertise together to create solutions to lower the cost of prescription drugs that New Hampshire's prosperity relies on.
As the NH PDAB works in earnest to deliver results, the Council will be a critical partner for engaging communities, patients, and stakeholders to ensure no one in New Hampshire is left behind.

About the New Hampshire Prescription Drug Affordability Board. Enacted in July 2020, the General Court established the New Hampshire Prescription Drug Affordability Board (NH PDAB) to protect the people of New Hampshire from the high costs of prescription drugs. This was achieved with broad, bipartisan support from local leaders, engaged patients, and other stakeholder groups with the public interest in mind. The NH PDAB is an independent entity administratively attached to the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services that will further the mission of the Department to provide opportunities for citizens to achieve health and independence.
