NEW CPT Code to Lighten the Load
We decided to repost this article so that all providers are aware of this opportunity.
Enrolling in our screening programs can often feel like navigating a dense forest of paperwork. The process, while necessary, can be time-consuming and a barrier for individuals eager to participate. Recognizing this burden, we want to announce a new CPT code to reimburse your clinic for valuable staff time in assisting women to enroll in the Every Woman Matters (EWM) Program.
Who is eligible for reimbursement?
Any Clinic that:
- Has received training to do presumptive eligibility enrollments,
- Assists a woman in completion of a presumptive eligibility enrollment form
- Provides a well woman visit and completes a screening card,
- Assists women in scheduling additional preventive services (mammogram) as appropriate.
What is the CPT code and reimbursement amount?

Early preventive screening affords women to have good outcomes. We appreciate and value your clinic staff. We want to make sure you are compensated for your time doing work that matters.

July is HPV Awareness Month
Over 37,800 people get HPV-related cancer in the U.S. annually. Did you know that HPV is common - the HPV vaccine stops cancer before it starts. The vaccine blocks 90% of the six types of cancers that are linked to HPV. The cancers are: Anal, Cervical, Penile, Throat, Vaginal, and Vulvar. The good news is that the vaccine can help prevent these cancers. It's safe, effective and should be considered for all adults up to age 45.
The vaccine is an important step in protecting your patients long-term health. Be sure to talk to your patients when they receive their EWM preventive health screenings. Help them protect their future!
