Grand Island Veterans’ Home Is Deficiency-Free Again

GIVH.aerialview

The Grand Island Veterans’ Home (GIVH) has done it again.

For the third year in a row, GIVH has received full certification on its annual Health Care System Survey from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.

Alex Willford, GIVH’s facility administrator, said this wouldn’t be possible without the facility’s dedicated staff and the “overwhelming support” GIVH receives from its service organizations and hundreds of volunteers.

GIVH is part of DHHS’ Division of Veterans’ Homes which also includes facilities in Bellevue, Norfolk and Scottsbluff.
